We have a unique combination of sport and music—a mix that is definitely a winner. Meet some of the greats of Rugby League and all other sports, combined with great music from the 80’s, 90’s to now.
Eric Grothe Snr (Ex Parramatta Eels/State of Origin and Australian Player), together with his band “The Gurus” are great musicians who will entertain your guests throughout the evening. Combined with the band we have great guest speakers such as: Paul Sironen, Billy Moore, Peter Tunks, Brett Kenny, Wally Lewis to mention a few.

THE COMMITTEE: BATHURST ST PATRICKS RLFC
Recently Bathurst St Patrick’s RLFC held a Sportsman’s Dinner/Season Launch using the services of Sid Barnes and the team at ProScore.
The evening was organised over a number of months with Sid providing tremendous assistance and expertise in how to organise the evening and how to promote it in the community and within our club.
The memorabilia that Sid provided was 1stclass and the way that Sid conducted the auctions ensured that they went for a healthy sum. This of course helped our club earn a good return on the night.
Special mention should be made of the two speakers that Sid arranged in Peter Tunks and Brett Kenny. Both Peter & Brett were absolute gentleman making time to talk to everyone, posing for photos and being outstanding representatives of the game. Their talks where funny, very on topic and interesting for all. In speaking to attendee’s everyone agreed it was a great night.
In short our club would not hesitate to recommend to any other CRL Club to use the services of Sid and his team at ProScore. We are already planning our next function with them.

This is basic rundown of our Sportsman’s Fundraising Show activities.
1 Selection of high profile sporting entities
We have many speakers available, the number of speakers and who is determined by show dates, speaker availability and club requirements. All entities included in our shows are true entertainers on and off the field. Once a date is set, we can confirm entity availability.
2 Fundraising Activities will include:
Both silent and live auctions as well as raffles. Please note, all our fundraising activities include a most generous commission on all items sold. As part of our service we are happy to auction any of your own donated items free of charge.
It is important to note that we are aware the very reason for the show is to raise much needed money for the club!
We have included in our package a unique self – funding mechanism – we supply well in advance of the show a great piece of sporting memorabilia + raffle books (valued at $500.00)
Your ticket selling efforts will assist with the funding of the show.
Once a show date is set, our proposal will include our basic requirements ie PA, microphones etc.
All in all we are very low maintenance!
Suffice to say, with Sid’s 40 + years’ experience as a professional compère/MC/auctioneer; combined with the quality of our proven speakers—a most enjoyable, professionally run and financially rewarding show is assured—one that all in attendance will remember and enjoy.
